GAS TURBINE ELECTRICITY
Introduction:-
How to working principle & produce electricity with
lowest power loss (high efficiency) on this article. There showing working and
construction of gas powered turbine this is also called jet engine how to
produce electricity through using it.so please read full article I hope you

The mostly heavy power plant running on coal and its
polluting our atmosphere like this type of power plant called Thermal power plant,
because there burn many many coal and produce high heat and this heat use to
vaporize the water and create high pressure stream. And this high pressure steam
used to rotate steam turbine to produce electricity. So their energy
conservation is 3 steps like first producing heat of coal burn. And second this
heat used to produce water to stream. And third step is this steam used to
rotate turbine. This system targeted produce mechanical rotating power.
We know that when energy is converted, the converted energy
is not found in full because some energy is converted into energy. Which we can't use. That means if you convert
100% energy, 100% energy is not available.
Less than 100% is available, for example, if 100% energy is converted,
85% to 90% of usable energy is available. And other 10% to 15% energy is not
useful.
So you can under stand this type thermal power plant system
loss is high and efficiency is low and this type power plant produce CO2 and
toxic smoke to polluting our environment.
This type of thermal power plant efficiency is 30% to 35%as
year of 2020
&
The gas turbine efficiency is 60% as year 2020 ,
So the gas turbine is the most efficient power plant and low
pollution than thermal power plant.
CONSTRACTION & WORKING OF
GAS TERBINE
These power plants used gas turbine. This turbine called jet engine. The jet engine that is attached to the aircraft. There is a fan in front of the engine of the aircraft and there is no fan in this power plant jet engine.
Every jet engine has a prime mover. This case of the power plant the Jet engine prime mover is connected to generator shaft.
ENGINE
First this engine has axial air compressor. This compressor compress the air.this compressor has many rotatory blades like turbines type.

blades placed to low to high compression ratio like this segment 2:1 next 8:2 next 15: 8 etc…..
When the air is supplied to the engine, the air is filtered
very well before the supply so that there are no dust particles in the
air. If there are dust particles, the
engine’s compressor blades will be damaged.
Than The
engine efficiency decreased and engine life decreased.
STEP 2
After compress the air will be send to other chamber in the engine. Highly compressed air and fuel are mixed in this chamber and ignited it.
The high pressure exhaust gas produced after combustion. The high pressure gas sent to the main power turbine. As a result, the engine continues to run on its own. After doing so much work, there is a lot of torque in the prime mover.
Electricity is generated by using that extra torque.
Some were use combined cycle to increase efficiency.
COMBINED CYCLE
The jet engine releases exhaust gas. This gas is very hot
which is used again to generate electricity.
So this system is working on water cycle
Like the hot exhaust gas send to the water boiler then their water is convert to steam then this steam send to steam turbine and the turbine rotate through it.
And the turbine prime mover also connected to that generator
who is connected to jet engine. Now the Efficiency is increased and produce
more power in MW (MEGA WATT).
This type of engine pollution is very low because it’s run
on any high flammable gas like methane, propene etc.
This power plant called hydrocarbon Power plant. Because their
burn gas carbons.
